The location is great, only a few minutes’ walk to Ortigia. The room is large with a balcony, and the curtains can be fully darkened; the host is nice. The bathroom is old, with some moldy seams and a slow drain – you end up standing in your own shower water even for a short shower; you’re not allowed to flush toilet paper, and there are no sink plugs. The bed creaks with every movement and the springs are noticeably felt. The room is very noisy – you can hear the TV and voices from the neighboring room or hallway loudly. For me, this isn’t a “Luxury Room.” Finding a parking spot is also not easy.

The room was clean and spacious, and Daniele’s availability made our stay in Siracusa very pleasant. Definitely recommend.

A plus for the hotel is its proximity to Ortigia, a five‑minute walk, and the archaeological park, which is also easily reachable on foot. The bathroom was the only downside – there was an old, loud fan and a constant unpleasant odor coming from the plumbing. Otherwise, everything was fine.
