What a place! Right by the river with a garden, 2 pools, amazing room layout, staff that go above and beyond with a smile and extra care. To top it all off, they allowed me to bring a cat!

The rooms felt very comfortable even though they look aged in an old‑Asian style, and everything was in perfect condition; the pool could use a bit of shine to make people want to swim, the staff were a solid 10, and breakfast offered very little variety. The pool needs a full renovation – walls and all – so if a pool is what you’re after, this isn’t the place, but for peace and a good night’s sleep it’s ideal, and the location is fine unless you don’t have a motorbike or car, in which case getting around on foot will be a hassle.

Adding a riverside restaurant or café would be great because the location is already very convenient by the Ping River. The parking is a bit troublesome if you park in front of the school.

A cute hotel with lots of whimsical artworks, right on the river, very peaceful. It isn’t within walking distance of the Chiang Mai night market, so we stayed only one night before moving to a hotel right in the bustling market. The hotel understood our needs and even drove us to the other hotel—an unexpectedly nice gesture.

The quirky art installations were a highlight of my stay, and I loved unwinding by the river. The atmosphere was super chill and the location was perfect. If I'm being picky, the Wi-Fi could be a bit more reliable.
