The accommodation is great, steeped in history, and the staff are very friendly and pet‑friendly; I recommend it to everyone as a wonderful chance to rest and enjoy a fantastic space. However, on the first night we were disturbed by noise from guests near our room, hearing conversations until 1 am and again at 4 am when they arrived late. The road to the lodge is a bit rough, and because we drove a low‑profile car it wasn’t a pleasant experience.

Breakfast was underwhelming; the variety and quality of ingredients didn’t meet customer expectations. I only liked the place itself, with pleasant gardens and a good pool. I didn’t like that there was no air conditioning in the room and only a fan, and we stayed in July when it was very hot day and night, coinciding with the country’s heat wave. I had planned to stay two days but ended up staying only one.

I loved staying at this paradisiacal property, its beauty and tranquility are amazing. I had been there last summer and, because I liked it so much, I returned this year and will come back soon! Everything is beautiful and well‑maintained, the pool is fantastic, the lawns and patios are great, and there are plenty of spots to sit, play a game, or read a book, especially on the loungers by the river that runs through the property. Idyllic! The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The outdoor area is well‑kept and pleasant, with many manicured lawns, daily pool maintenance, and very friendly staff and animals, including our dog. There was no AC in the room, just an old fan that barely cooled us during a scorching weekend. We also found it very inconvenient that a large estate had no trash bins outside or even by the pool, while we had a dog and wanted to dispose of its waste; the only bin was in the bathroom. When I asked, they explained that the solution they had set up tended to blow away in strong wind, but we still felt there was no sufficient justification for the lack of bins.
