The decoration nice, mix with old Chinese traditional culture & modern, enough bed for my kids. Maybe location too close with main road. Too noisy with car, buses, motorcycle & horn sound. At night only after 2 pm got calm & peaceful.

The place is close to town and food, but the facilities are very old and the ventilators and air‑conditioner make horn‑like noises.

The location is excellent, the apartment is distinctive and well‑kept, with a library full of books and nice historical photos on the walls, and the rooms have air conditioning. The entrance is via a gate because it used to be a shop, the bathroom windows cannot be closed, and there is no kitchen or electric stove to cook.

We booked a hotel through this website, but when we got there there was no proper hotel at the address. It took more than four hours just to find the place, and when we finally did it turned out to be a random building, not a hotel. Worse, the staff kept demanding extra money even though we had already paid online in full. The hotel name was nowhere on the building and the whole setup felt sketchy and unsafe. We called the contact number many times but no one answered. This was a total scam and we want a full refund. It caused us unnecessary stress and wasted a lot of time on our trip. Beware – this is not a legitimate hotel.

The property is clean and convenient, though the stairs are a bit steep and may not suit older guests. It’s spacious and easy to walk around the sights in George Town. Our main issue is that the entrance is basically an acrylic swing door with curtains for privacy and a sliding metal grill for security, so we felt a little insecure, but overall everything was fine. A water filter at the sink would be nice for boiling drinking water, but there are many stores nearby so it’s not a big deal.
