The room was lovely and quiet, with a balcony and an excellent base for visiting Neuschwanstein Castle and the surrounding mountains. The owner was very friendly and pointed us to a good restaurant on request, where we ate well (Schankwirtschaft in Pfronten). The bathroom was a bit cramped and the exhaust fan, which turns on and off with the lights, made too much noise in our opinion; it should be replaced with a newer, quieter model.

The city and the hotel are calm, the host welcomes you warmly, the breakfast offers a wide variety of breads, parking is easy, the bar is open 24/7 and operates on a trust‑based system where guests note their consumption, and there is also a kettle available.

The rooms were very beautiful, modern, and offered a great view of the mountains, were stylishly furnished and super clean. The small but fine breakfast buffet left no wishes unfulfilled, and the staff were very friendly.
