“Disappointing...”

The room size is fine and the bed is very comfortable. The room is clean and has no bad smell, thank GOD. When we first arrived, Ms. Lau Sa couldn’t find my booking and could only accept payment via WeChat. The corridor on the hotel floor has a very bad smell, likely from humidity and the air conditioner or dehumidifier not being turned on for ages. Breakfast staff didn’t refill fresh fruit and milk even though they saw they were finished. The hotel advertises a spa, which was the sole reason I booked it, but the spa center is not operational. It also advertises a swimming pool, but the pools belong to the residential buildings next to the hotel. Yes, hotel guests can use those pools, but you must wear a swim cap, a rule no one tells us until we actually want to swim; the hotel staff have no idea about this rule. You only learn it when the lifeguard shouts loudly at you, stopping you from swimming because you don’t wear a cap. What’s even worse is that on our last morning in the hotel we found a used male underwear left by someone in the open wardrobe; the wardrobe is very close to the main door of our room, so we suspect the cleaner came into the room and left it there. Think about the purpose of a used man’s underwear—could it be a cleaning cloth? There are nice and helpful staff at the hotel, but not Ms. Lau Sa; she always pretends to be very busy using the desktop, and when you stand in front of her you won’t be greeted or asked “can I help you,” so you have to ask the staff next to her. This is my experience with the hotel… very disappointing and never the same as before.

“Great place. Good parking garage 10 seconds away with a friendly owner”

This hotel's got a great little spa in the basement, which is a nice perk.
