The building is charming and easy to locate, the honesty bar is great and the team is very friendly, breakfast was nice, and I’d return. The only downside is that parking under the tree at the back can get messy from the birds.

The front desk staff were friendly, the room was spacious—though it was on the top floor so there were many stairs, which was acceptable. I requested a shower and was directed to the courtyard; parking was a bit tight, and when I returned later the lot was full, so I had to use the side street next to the hotel, which is still easy to find. Breakfast was very good and the orangery provides a lovely space.
