Brave resort Mirissa

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Families love this place! We stayed here and it was spotless, well-kept, and very relaxing, making us feel right at home. The spot is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, so you can enjoy the shore and nearby sights easily. Breakfast was tasty and thoughtfully arranged. What really stood out was the owner, who is humble, friendly, and caring, going above and beyond for guests and giving great local travel tips that made our trip better. If you’re after a cozy, family-friendly spot with a warm vibe, this is the place. We’d gladly return. “A home away from home!” ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“Friendly and welcoming”

This place has a great spot, right by the harbor for whale‑watching trips. The room was clean and very comfy. The staff were super friendly and pleasant, and I felt safe and very comfortable in that part of town.

“Très bon séjour”

Near the beach on a quiet street, a big, well‑furnished room, and a great welcome from the owner. Breakfast was okay. The water pressure was poor, there was only one towel per person, and no kettle.

Nice spot, close to the beach, and the owner and his family are super friendly; we had great breakfasts. We could even park our tuk‑tuk during our stay. Great accommodation—highly recommend!

“Beautiful and quiet gem of a place”

What an absolute gem of a place - tucked away down the quieter end of Mirissa but a few minutes walk to the fabulous beach. Set in a beautiful courtyard the facilities were excellent. We have been cycling through Sri Lanka and stayed in many guesthouses - this is definitely the cleanest and nicest we stayed in. The bedroom was lovely - the fourposter bed very luxurious! The family who run Brave Resort were incredibly kind and thoughtful, providing us with breakfast very early in the morning before we set off on our next ride. I couldn't recommend it more highly. Honestly wished we'd had a few more days there. Well come back!. Nothing - it was all wonderful 😊
