“Amazing stay”
One of the best hotels in Mykonos, really close to the beach Kalo Livadi, with a nice view. The house is very charming, breakfast is great thanks to Nectarine, and there’s a private entrance for the car. Nothing negative.
“Alles in allem - absolut toll und weiterzuempfehlen für Menschen, die nicht nur für Party kommen”
I can only recommend Salty Houses. I was on the “party island” to relax and explore and I succeeded. Because Salty Houses is far from the party bustle, I wasn’t in isolation but still in soothing silence. The room and especially the terrace in front were immaculate, and I felt very comfortable. The breakfast was more than enough, with plenty of fresh fruit and the yogurt I love—especially the lady at the breakfast service was exceptionally kind and extremely accommodating, as were the rest of the staff I met. Nothing truly negative; you have to know you need a car or scooter to explore the island—there’s no bus link. Prices at restaurants and for scooter rentals are high, but I knew that. The oven in the kitchen didn’t work, and the bar music in the morning was definitely not my taste—probably a generational thing. All in all, “complaints at a very high level.”
Everything was perfect. I usually don’t give 10s, but when someone deserves it, you have to acknowledge it. A special shout‑out to Nektaria, who every morning greeted us with her kindness and smile, starting the day right. We can’t wait to return. Nothing negative.
We stayed on our way back from island hopping; the room was very comfortable, the pool area beautiful, and the beach was a 5‑minute walk. I personally didn’t like the music (techno/lounge remixes) that you can’t escape during breakfast or while lounging by the pool, which made it hard to relax.
The welcome and friendliness of the staff, the hotel’s location, the view, and the studio were all great. The hot water sometimes ran out.
