“Fantastic stay in San Diego”

The apartment was fantastic and I really enjoyed my stay. The on‑site manager was a lovely, warm, and friendly person, extremely helpful, and even arranged an Uber to the airport and paid for it—though I insisted on reimbursing him, which is typical of his hospitality. I liked the close location to Balboa Park, a great spot to spend lots of time with more than a dozen museums, the zoo, and a theatre. The only small dislike was that walking to Gaslamp or the bay front feels a bit long for some people who enjoy walking.

Overall, the place was great. The host was very helpful and responsive, and I liked having a small balcony. The room was large, comfortable, and clean. The location was convenient, just across the street from Balboa Park (El Prado, museums, zoo) and about a 20‑minute walk to the waterfront—ideal for first‑time San Diego explorers. The main drawback is that it’s right under the flight path, so planes come in quite often; the host gave earplugs, which helped me sleep. I didn’t stay in the room much, so it wasn’t a huge issue for me, but if you plan to stay inside you might find it distracting. Also, you’ll need to walk up 1‑4 flights of stairs to reach the apartments, so it’s not suitable for those needing accessibility.
