A good‑sized room with a comfortable bed, but it was a bit cold and the TV needs a proper aerial.

The owner kindly brought an extra duvet when I mentioned I was cold, but I didn’t say it in time before bed and he left it in the kitchen. I managed to park in the driveway, yet there’s hardly any street parking because it’s mostly yellow lines. The key lock had no key inside and it took a while for someone to answer the bell. The skirting board under the kitchen window had a thick dust layer, and overall the place didn’t look very clean. The communal cupboard lacked mugs, plates, and dishes, and cutlery was scarce. I couldn’t wash dishes properly because there was no washing‑up bowl or sink plug. The Venetian blind in the bedroom was broken, and the shower entrance faced the window with no blind. The towels looked as if bleach had been spilled on them. The room was cold even though the heating was eventually turned on.
