Hotel Tini

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel; everything pleased us, from the extremely friendly and attentive staff to the excellent service, and we’re eager to return.

“Comfortable stay for a good price”

The staff were friendly, the room was nice, the bed comfortable, and the surroundings were natural, but the shower head wouldn’t stay in place and was held by a zip tie.

“Sehr enttäuschend”

There were plenty of parking spots, and when we asked, a coffee machine was added; the location is good, close to Soltau. The reception felt more like a bad car dealership than a hotel—no desk at first, and after a brief search the owner appeared in the hallway and led us to a back room and then to the rooms. The single room had been modernised and was acceptable. The double room, however, was very run-down and old-fashioned; old-fashioned is not a problem, but the cleanliness was lacking. It wasn’t the room I had booked from the pictures. The toilet was more than unappealing, and the sink wasn’t clean. The shower door was full of mold… Paying 89 CHF for one night was a sham given the facilities and service.

“Wir kommen wieder”

Hotel Tini sits right on the main road, not far from Heidepark Soltau, yet it’s surprisingly quiet. The hotel was clean, the rooms were modernly furnished, and the beds were comfortable; we liked everything and would gladly go back.
