“Our stay blew us away! DELICIOUS breakfast, INSANE views, WELL priced & SUPER friendly service!”

The lodge is managed by a lovely Sri Lankan woman and her husband who take great pride in their beautiful accommodation and breakfast, treating guests like family. It used to be their home, now a sturdy lodge. The breakfast was insanely delicious: first a continental spread with eggs, toast, sausages, fruit, and papaya juice, then a lucky Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner of Kiribath, String Hoppers, Potato Curry, Chicken Curry, Fresh Sambol, and Fresh Chutney—definitely the best food of our two‑week trip. The view from the room was incredible, especially at night when the hills and houses light up. The beds were super comfy, the tea and coffee great, the amenities well equipped, and there was a fridge. The pipes leaked slightly onto the bathroom tiles, but there was no odor.

The rooms were clean and cozy, the food tasty, and the view stunning. All in all, a wonderful stay that I’d highly recommend.

The owner and staff are very friendly, and the location is good 👍. It seems the owner is really trying to make everything as convenient as possible.

“Nice and friendly staff , quiet atmosphere”

The view is nice and there’s a jack tree with jack fruits hanging. We were hungry and the receptionist helped us order food. I ordered the evening meal and it was tasty Sri Lankan food. Breakfast was arranged at my preferred time. There were some ants, but they were harmless 😊.

“Overall, this was one of the worst decisions we made, and these matters require immediate attention”

Not worth the money and an extra charge of 1000 for two little kids, plus no proper English breakfast. This was our second stay. During our first visit with our baby girl, we got a warm welcome that made us book again, but this time it was disappointing. The staff should be more welcoming and friendly, ensuring a proper reception. No welcome drink was offered, and they seemed unprepared to accommodate Sri Lankan guests. The TV in our room didn’t work, and no apology or fix was offered. The room was dusty. Overall, this was one of the worst decisions we made, and these issues need immediate attention and improvement from management.
