“Alojamiento cozy en skye”

The accommodation is a cozy hut and very well located, but for two people it’s a bit small, especially if you stay more than a day and need to keep luggage open. The bathroom isn’t inside the hut; you have to go out to the main building, which makes the experience a bit less convenient, but the positives far outweigh these small details. We had a great stay and really liked it. It’s just a little small for two.

The hut was warm and fully equipped, and the bathroom was only a short walk from the main house. The wind and rain were loud and kept us awake for most of the night because the hut isn’t well insulated against outside noise.

The spot is above the lake, has its own parking and a bench for the view, and the hut’s layout is nice. We had to be careful opening and closing the door because the midges were everywhere.

The location is beautiful, a guesthouse overlooking a quiet, relaxing lake with rooms that have en‑suite bathrooms and an external caravan with a private bathroom inside the premises. The caravan was our choice and the common room with a stunning window was also available. The caravan is small but cozy and intimate; breakfast is refilled daily, there’s a small fridge, a table, and the essential kettle. The bathroom is minimal but still comfortable. It was a pleasant stay. We didn’t meet anyone at reception, but check‑in was easy. You just have to adjust a bit to the space and the external bathroom, but that’s part of the charm. The location is convenient for visiting the north of the island and it’s a 10‑minute drive from Portree. I would suggest the property add a hair‑dryer outlet in the bathroom (if possible) instead of having to go out with wet hair to the caravan.
