The room met expectations—clean and well kept—and the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel sits close to the sea, and we could hear the sea lions from our room. I loved the place; everything was awesome.

The location, views, free easy parking, and the evening fire pit area are great. There is noise from neighboring rooms, and while the room was clean, I noticed orange stains on the floor when walking barefoot. The check‑in staff were a bit authoritarian and not very knowledgeable about local dining (they should know about all you can eat crab in Rose’s on a Tuesday). The checkout staff were more relaxed.

The staff were absolutely amazing and helpful, and I didn’t encounter anything I disliked; we were assigned a room on the bottom floor, which turned out to be a great location.

The view was excellent, and a great restaurant across the street let us bring our food back to our room. I enjoyed the outdoor sitting area, bringing books and drinks to relax.
