The place was clean and the air conditioning needs a review, but overall it was good, the host was friendly, and the bathroom was a bit small.

“Nagyon megérte!”

The room with the bathroom was very clean and everything was in order. There is a shared kitchen, also fully equipped and tidy. The beach entrance is a few minutes walk away. The whole area is lovely with small lakes, a park, and charming restaurants. The only issue was that parking instructions were not clear: we only knew we could park in the free lot. Since all nearby parking is paid, that was fine, but we had to park for an hour in the paid section to walk to the guesthouse because the doorman wouldn’t let us in at the parking line. We then occupied the room and asked if maybe we were in the wrong parking spot and if there was another one. They said we were in the right spot and to show the guesthouse key, saying this is our accommodation. We tried again and the doorman finally let us into the parking. It’s important to note that this parking isn’t exclusive to this guesthouse; it’s not a private yard. The booking page should explain this more precisely.

“Finally, was a nice, quiet and pleasant stay. We would return for that suvenir (; )f that warm night”

The kitchen and dining room were spotless and well equipped, and the location was great for exploring the city of Felix and accessing Oradea. Unfortunately the AC didn’t work, so we spent two tough nights on the attic floor in that condition. The cleaning lady should have checked that everything was operational (maintenance, possibly battery replacement for AC remote, thermostats, TV, etc.) at the start of the season or before guests arrive. I was born in the area and lived my first 30 years without AC, so it wasn’t a huge personal inconvenience, but my wife comes from a Nordic climate and mid‑June isn’t the same as many years before—especially when you look for AC before choosing a place. I follow good technical schools in Romania, but it seems like a simple fix for future guests, and I heard Romanian electricity suppliers can negotiate preferential prices for each customer, especially large consumers.

“Un sejur liniștit 🌊”

The guesthouse’s very central position made it easy to reach the beach or shops. On the ground floor, on the alley, there’s a cute souvenir shop. I really appreciated being able to choose my room, and I think I’ll come back someday. The bathroom could be better; a nice room fragrance would be welcome there.
