“In generall the stay was great.”

Most of the services were great, and the shower was fixed right away so we didn’t have to ask the staff. The breakfast tables were insufficient, forcing me to ask staff to clean them repeatedly, and the lotion and other facilities were barely enough for our three‑person room, which had space for six. Despite these small issues, the stay in 2025 for four nights was perfect, though this year it felt slightly different.

The staff were very kind and helpful, offering us a discounted upgrade after our flight landed early. The room was comfortable and beautiful, the hallway artwork created a great atmosphere, and the free bottled water was much appreciated. The location was ideal for viewing the Bund, and it was a 10‑minute walk to the shopping district around Yu Garden, which looked amazing when lit up at night.

There was nothing I liked. The room’s cleanliness was terrible, especially the bathroom: the shower head was broken, the walls, glass door, and sink were covered in grime, and the window light fixtures outside the floor were dirty, giving a very bad overall impression. When I requested a room change, the staff’s attitude was poor.

The hotel staff were pleasant, very helpful, and tried hard to fulfill every request. The internet in the hotel worked very poorly and clearly needs improvement.
