The hotel’s prime location in front of the sea was its main selling point, but despite booking a superior room we didn’t get a sea or countryside view, which was the very reason we chose this place and left us bitterly disappointed; the value for money was also poor, as the hotel is very expensive.

The room was excellent, beautifully furnished and spotless, and the staff who greeted us were very nice and helpful.

I found this hotel to be stunning, set in a truly beautiful location, and it topped all the other places we visited in Iceland. The room itself was fantastic and the view was breathtaking. The dinner at the on‑site restaurant was tasty, and we were reluctant to leave. Overall, everything was great.

Facility and the staff were great. And the location was perfect for getting around the western peninsula for a couple of days. We had the opportunity to stay in a Loft room and the Superior standard. The first was cozy and the second was very accommodating. The restaurant quality was high and the cocktails were inventive twists on old favorites. Parking was a bit of a challenge on busy days
