The expanded food and drink selection surprised us pleasantly, and it was great meeting the innkeepers and sharing a drink; we consider this our go‑to spot in Seaside and would change our vacation dates if the inn is full. We did have to head home, though.

Checking in was straightforward, the lobby offered a nice range of breakfast items, the bedding and towels were quite nice, and the decor was fun; the staff were friendly. The bathtub was unnecessary for me because I prefer quick showers, and I struggled with the shower setup: the handheld head had to be pulled out from outside the curtain, the temperature controls were also outside the shower area, the sink mirror was small and low, but the magnifying mirror was at the right height. The night lighting was dim and hard to read, and it would help if all windows had screens.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay; the location was close to the main streets yet quiet enough to relax, and there were many thoughtful touches such as snacks, drinks, games, and even umbrellas. The spa was divine, creating a cozy, warm environment that we thoroughly enjoyed, and we’re already looking forward to returning.
