The location is good. The windows and doors don’t seal properly, leaving a big gap that lets a lot of mosquitoes and insects in, and a bad smell rises from the walls. When we arrived we discovered all this, which didn’t match the photos, and we asked for an immediate refund that we never received, with no solution offered.

Great location—close to restaurants, pubs, and surf beaches, but still quiet enough. The suite is fully equipped with a kitchen, fridge, and a unit for hot and cold water. However, there’s a gap between the bathroom window glass and the wall that lets all the outdoor mosquitoes in; the sliding door has two “wings” that are hard to close (my partner managed to close it after a lot of effort, but even when it’s supposedly closed there’s a huge gap between the wings and the wall, compromising privacy and letting all kinds of bugs in). We were bitten by mosquitoes every day. The shower flow was weak, and twice in six days the water stopped entirely; when we texted via WhatsApp, one reply said “it won’t be fixed today,” and another said “probably everyone bathed together, so the water ran out, and we’ll finish the shower with water collected in a plastic bucket” (I was still in the shower with soap on me when the water suddenly stopped).

There was plenty of space, and because we had the suite we could keep to ourselves. Help was always quick. The windows and doors are leaky, so many insects—including large beetles (I think they were cockroaches)—got into our room, which was very gross. The bed is a bit hard.

“Excellent”

The kitchen and living area were huge, and the shower in the bathroom was fantastic, but there was no generator for a power outage.
