There was no water in the room, so guests had to leave the room to get water from the hallway machine; the walls are thin enough that you can hear people constantly coming in and out.

What does it mean to pay extra for a second guest’s stay? What resource did they consume? Did they flush the toilet more often? Why must guests only pass with escort? You have cameras everywhere! No other hotel does that. The room smells bad. The chemical odor on the floor (my room was on the 5th floor) is awful. The staff are rude and not friendly.

The staff were very polite. Because my elderly parents arrived very early, they were able to check in ahead of time. We booked an airport transfer – everything was clear. The staff were attentive, helped the elderly set up Wi‑Fi, order a taxi, and generally navigate the city.

The staff were friendly and polite, and the location was good – that’s about it. So many issues that I can’t list them all, so here are a few: the hotel and rooms are very dated, and the places they try to fix or refurbish show poor workmanship; the carpets are awful; the room had a bad smell; the fridge/mini‑bar was empty, and for a 4‑star Holiday‑Inn you would expect at least a complimentary water bottle, but instead there was a shared water filter spot like in a hostel, not a hotel; they missed small details, such as an empty tissue box in the bathroom; housekeeping was poor; the air‑conditioning did nothing and the room was hot, with a filthy duct that made my sinuses flare; overall cleanliness was very bad; the bed was uneven for some reason. I could go on, but in short, this hotel is not a 4‑star establishment at all, maybe a 3‑star at best. I was glad to stay only one night and not more. I didn’t bother complaining to the staff because I had just arrived very early in the morning from a long flight and journey and was exhausted; even if I wanted to complain, where would I start? I just wanted to leave. It’s overpriced for what it is.
