The place is well‑situated and the beds are comfortable, though the linen feels odd, and the front desk is helpful. The restaurant, however, was a disaster; the salad was drenched in vinegar, the oysters were ruined by raw onions, and the beef tasted like old gumboots. The food was simply disgusting.

The location, the restaurant, and the menu were all fantastic. The only downside was that it rained.

The manager was lovely and the dinner staff excellent. The chalet rooms are very flexible for guests with dogs and let you make tea and light meals. Parking and the location are brilliant. Just be sure to pick the right room to get the best value.

The location is perfect for shuttle and ferry access, the staff are welcoming, and the food and wine are excellent and reasonably priced. There’s nothing to dislike, which explains why it’s popular with both French and other nationalities.

Room was comfortable- shower was excellent- property was lovely- staff was attentive- restaurant was excellent. Nothing comes to mind
