“Will not be returning!”

Stunning setting and lovely walks! Upon arrival, receptionist very friendly and informative. Room very clean. No hair dryer? Didn’t matter for me, as I had my own. 2 other guests knocked on my door to borrow my hairdryer?. What ruined my experience was turning up for dinner at 6:15pm, to be told that the kitchen was too busy and no further bookings were being taken that evening?!?!?! You are running a holiday park? Or not, as the case may be?! I was forced to rush to the next village convenience store and buy a sandwich for dinner?! I have cataracts and can’t drive in the dark, so couldn’t even enjoy a dinner at a local pub. Other people were complaining as I returned. As for the officious Restaurant Manager that walked around saying “sorry ma’am” repeatedly. You should not be taking on party bookings if you do not have the infrastructure and resources to accommodate your resident guests?!

“Would go back again but children need to be prioritised for dinner”

Wasn’t expected the hotel is in the nature reserve. Beautiful environment with plenty to do with kids. Couldn’t eat past 8pm as a big party was there. Would’ve been nice if they could serve food for small children at least

“Clean comfortable and cosy -Everything we needed”

Room was clean ,cosy and comfortable with everything we needed for a one night stay. Great walk in shower. Had a meal and a drink at Woodys Bar which we thoroughly enjoyed. Not much really check in took a while as the staff were very busy

A fantastic resort—the food in the restaurant was excellent, the service was wonderful, and we will definitely be coming back

“Good value accommodation in a family focused setting.”

The lodge was roomy and spotless, and the bar and restaurant were close by; parking entry and exit by car were organized well. The only downside was that the lodge didn’t provide a hairdryer.
