The welcome was perfect and very warm, the price is unbeatable, the bedding is flawless, the accommodation is very spacious, the dinner and breakfast were excellent, the desert excursion offered great value, and the evening sunset viewing was a nice free treat. The only drawback was the cold shower water.

I was solo hiking for 5 days and stayed at four different camps during that time – I was very happy with all of them. Joy of Life Camp stands out because of the host Eid, who was great to chat with and made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy the stay. I could return any day! He also arranged a Jeep ride to the southern edge of the desert based on my hiking needs. The view from the camp was superb, opening up in many directions with both Wadi Rum cliffs and the desert horizon to the south. A warm shower was available, as was hearty and tasty dinner and breakfast. The value for money is unbeatable; just remember it’s a desert, so don’t expect the same level of luxury and functionality as in cities. Nights are cold, so dress warmly and treat the stay as a bit of an adventure.

Skvělá lokace s dokonalým výhledem, velmi příjemní a přátelští hostitele, měli jsme stan s vlastní koupelnou a terasou. Pár minut jízdy od lezecké oblasti. Jídlo bylo chutné, vše na jedničku. Opravdu doporučuji!
