“More than a room.”

I had everything I needed for a budget room, plenty of space in the communal lounge/kitchen and in the room itself, a private bathroom, minimal noise, and it was cleaned well before I arrived. The location was fine, but there was a strange, slightly unpleasant odor in the kitchen/lounge area that stayed even with the air‑con on. The shower screen was partially missing, so the floor got wet after showering; I had to use a large kitchen roll each time to dry it.

“Affordable and good.”

I stayed in a basic place that was super cheap, with free air‑conditioning and laundry. The host answered quickly, and the spot was spot‑on – a grocery store in the building, a gym with a cafeteria across the street, and the beach, promenade, bars and restaurants all just a 6‑7 minute walk away. I had no complaints; everything matched the price I paid.

The place isn’t bad overall. The room is in a basement, but if you just want a place to crash for the night it works fine. There’s air‑conditioning, a fridge, and a washing machine. Street parking is scarce, yet there’s a large artificial parking lot up the hill. What annoyed me most was the deposit refund process, which took a month instead of the promised 7 business days. Inside the apartment, the bathroom had harmless but irritating drain flies.

I loved the accommodation, the decor, the large space, and the cleanliness of the property. Nothing was lacking.
