The front desk team was incredibly friendly and helped us out when we went to Inhotim, even letting us come back to finish the visit. Everything else was fine – no complaints at all. We’ll definitely book this place again.

I asked to change my reservation well in advance so the room could be used more efficiently, but the owner’s broken phone meant my request disappeared. When we arrived there was nobody at the desk, and we ended up waiting over an hour outside. The owner finally showed up around 6 pm, but by then I had to scramble for another place for my child. The only plus is the proximity to Inhotim, but the non‑refundable policy is risky.

The room was comfortable and the bedding clean and soft. The bathroom, however, has an open‑air shower that sprays water all over the floor despite good pressure and hot water. It leaves the whole bathroom wet after a shower.

A big thank‑you to Walace and Luciene for their exceptional welcome and attention; their hospitality was so good I added an extra night at Hostel Raízes. I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone who wants to share experiences and forget daily challenges. It’s a great place for open‑minded travelers.
