Oceano Copacabana Hotel

“Razoável”

Breakfast was good and the breakfast staff were excellent; the front desk staff were also great. The cleaning lady for my room was terrible and had to bring another one to clean. The bathroom was dirty and the room phone didn’t work; the room was already dirty before I even entered. Unacceptable.

The best part is the breakfast buffet and the location just meters from Av. Atlántica. The staff’s attitude is a bit hostile, they’re not very helpful with unexpected problems, they’re not friendly when my reservation wasn’t properly found, and the rooms aren’t comfortable – the beds are old and shabby.

“Río más allá de todo es divino”

The spot is great, but the staff who welcomed us were very rude. The room was dirty, and we managed to swap it thanks to the receptionist the next morning. The beds were awful, and even though we asked, they didn’t give us a new room.

The place is in a good spot, but the manager threatened me, saying I was causing trouble, when I asked to see the consumer protection code and demanded the tax receipt at payment. During my two‑day stay the room wasn’t cleaned, and breakfast had powdered juice instead of fresh fruit juice. It was a frustrating experience.
