Camping scores 10 out of 10, even 11, small, tidy, clean, with a pool, dining facilities, close to the ferry to Tihany and a beautiful promenade that stretches right into the center and beyond the lake. The Merkury cabin is generally okay, but comfort is 8; the bathroom is small, lacks cosmetic shelves, feels cramped, and the spiders and flies in the windows have been a recurring complaint that the camp staff ignore.

Very close to the park, fully dog‑friendly. The many spiders and stray mosquitoes are a problem, but the camp can’t be blamed for that.

A very nice spot for families with kids and dogs. The camp is well organized, the water is shallow so swimming isn’t possible but great for small children, and the beach mat is handy for lying down. When windy, it’s a great place for windsurfers and kayakers. The grassy beach, beach volleyball court, and a separate dog entrance are all there, plus water‑sport and bike rentals. Unfortunately the cabin was a bit untidy when we arrived. It’s a mid‑range cabin, but compared to similar camps in Italy it’s pricier and smaller. For the same price in Italy you’d get a larger cabin for a longer stay. It feels a bit expensive for the standard offered, and the cleaning needs improvement.

The ant infestation was awful; we had to buy our own ant repellent. Hand soap, dish sponge, and towel were missing, which I considered basic for the price we paid. During the rain, windows leaked into the bedroom. There was also a shortage of toilet paper and the towels with drying spots were never replaced.
