The spot was spot on, and the staff went out of their way to help; the bed was solid. I wish they’d add a top sheet, and the curtains around the beds could use an upgrade for better privacy.

Everything was excellent, especially the location. There are a lot of homeless people around, but they’re harmless; just leave and don’t stare.

I had a fantastic time at Samesun Hostel: the room was comfy, the staff were super helpful, and the location was walkable and easy to reach by streetcar. The stairs were a bit of a hassle, but manageable with just a carry‑on. Breakfast is basic and pretty much the same every day, yet the coffee is consistently hot and decent.

Great location, easy to check in. We really enjoyed the little balconies overlooking the street, great views of the skyline! There's so much to do in the area. Solid experience. More just something to note - there is no elevator, stairs only
