The rooms were nicely furnished and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a selection of cold meats, homemade cakes, and spreads. The hosts kindly let us have breakfast a bit earlier than usual because we were catching a train.

The location is very central, but the view is limited to the river and mainly shows some collapsed buildings. The main area is quite spacious, giving you plenty of room to move around the room. However, this does not match the description that “there is no room for baby cots.” The décor is nice. The breakfast was tasty but minimal. The bathroom was not very clean; the mirror had paper towel residue and there was hair around. The bedroom floor was very slippery, and we slipped a few times each. The bed made loud noises with every move and was always sleeping away from the wall. The balcony door could not open fully, only half.

Monica and Paula were the best hosts we met on the trip—warm, kind, and incredibly helpful, even with Google Translate. The place sits close to the station and within a short walk of the waterfront, bars, restaurants, and a supermarket. The rooms were generally clean, quiet, and peaceful, and the pillows were excellent. Breakfast offered a decent continental spread of cold meats, bread, cereal, milk, freshly baked cakes, tea, and coffee. In the relaxed dining area, Monica served us a lovely tapas spread and wine with genuine care. The floorboards were very noisy underfoot, the air conditioning worked but was ineffective and showed an E7 error on our last day, and there were no proper towel hooks—only broken bathroom door hooks.
