“Hôtel très bien situé, à deux pas de la mer et entouré de commerces et de restaurants, avec un petit déjeuner correct et”
I spent a week at this hotel this summer. The location is really good: the hotel is only a two‑minute walk from the sea, and there are many small shops, restaurants and eateries nearby, which is very convenient. The breakfast is good, even though the variety isn’t huge. It’s still decent and pleasant. I also want to point out how kind and attentive the housekeeping staff are, they listen well and are genuinely nice. What I really didn’t like was the reception. The people there were very unpleasant, often cold and gave the impression of looking down on guests. At arrival there was no smile, no real welcome, no explanation about the room. We were simply handed the key, without even being told where the elevator was or how the breakfast worked. No special attention, no kindness or empathy. During our stay we also had several water and electricity outages, sometimes almost every day. When we called reception to report these issues or ask a question, the phone reception was just as unpleasant. We felt like we were bothering them. Even when we just needed information, the response was often cold and unfriendly. I also found it regrettable to see reception staff regularly on their phones instead of paying attention to guests. For me, reception is essential in a hotel. Even when there are technical problems, a smiling, attentive and understanding staff can really make a difference. Unfortunately, that was not what we experienced, and that’s the main reason I do not recommend this hotel.
