GUI YUAN ZHEN PIN HOTEL Zhangjiajie

The place was spotless and the staff greeted us with a smile, which made checking in easy. Too bad there was no coffee in the room, and the breakfast could have been a bit better. Overall, a tidy stay but the morning routine left something to be desired.

The front desk folks were pleasant and the room was roomy enough for our gear, plus the park was just a short walk away. Unfortunately, the lady serving us at the restaurant was pretty rude, which put a damper on dinner. Still, the location and the reception were solid highlights.

We liked the spacious room with a big, clean bed and the quiet vibe away from the crowds; the bathroom was tidy, though it didn’t have a bidet. On the downside, the receptionist didn’t speak English, the breakfast options were limited, and the waiter seemed a bit grumpy. Still, the peaceful setting made up for the service hiccups.

The staff went above and beyond, helping us sort out itineraries and ticket bookings, and the rooms were modern, spotless, and roomy. Breakfast offered both Chinese and Western dishes, perfect for fueling up before a park day, and the hotel’s five‑minute drive to the east gate was super convenient. All in all, a flawless experience that earned a perfect score.

This hotel kept everything tidy and the front desk team was upbeat, always ready to help plan our outings. It’s a breeze to grab a taxi to the East Gate of Forest Park, and the on‑site gym and laundry facilities added a lot of convenience. I’d definitely book here again because of the clean rooms and handy amenities.
