The pictures don’t do it justice: every room is en‑suite, the kitchen is large, and the sunny garden with BBQ and outdoor eating area is fabulous. The location is perfect—right in the core of Roundstone village, plenty of parking, close to pubs, shops, and the harbour, and there’s a playground across the road for children. It was the ideal base for a family group exploring Connemara, and walking to great pubs in the evening was a great bonus. The only downside is that the front door opens onto the road, so be careful with little children.
