Being right on the beach was fantastic, the staff were friendly and really tried to make the stay as good as possible, giving the place a surfer‑vibe that was simple yet charming, the rooms were clean, simple and offered a wonderful sea view, but waste is a problem in Sri Lanka so rats were scurrying across the terrace where we ate, and on the last of our two days we found a cockroach in one of the rooms—a common coastal issue but still unpleasant.

The sea view and cleanliness are great. The staff jump in as soon as you pass, which feels a bit intrusive. The restaurant food leaves something to be desired.
