The hotel is close to the train station. Breakfast was quite tasty. The pillows were so bad that I had a sore throat and there were no replacements. So the next day we searched the city for a pillow. On the last day the elevator broke. Going down from the top floor with luggage was unpleasant.

The bed was not very comfortable, the sofa creaked a lot. I heard trains at night, so I couldn’t rest. Overall it was clean, breakfasts had a decent selection.

Convenient location. The outdated room stock needs renovation. I was very surprised when I accidentally opened Booking and found that if I hadn’t paid that day, my reservation would have been cancelled. The booking had a linked bank card, free cancellation was active, and the free‑cancellation period hadn’t expired. I ended up paying the room, even though I didn’t plan to on that day. If I hadn’t accidentally opened Booking, the reservation would have simply been cancelled and we would have had nowhere to stay. Honestly, this is the first time I’ve encountered this. In all my bookings through Booking, I’ve never seen this before.

I was pleased with the location—just a short walk from the train station and close to the old town and Jewish quarter. The hotel was clean and tidy, and every floor had water reservoirs. Breakfast was fine, nothing special. The room was on the top of floor 4, hot with no AC, and many guests probably sweated a lot because the beds had a faint smell of old sweat.
