“It’s was pleasant and felt like home away from home”

The staff were friendly, the breakfast tasty, the rooms spotless, the water pressure strong, and the bed comfortable; they also let us check in early. The parking was a hassle, though, because it was a long walk from our room and the only option was the basement parking, which required a long ride up to level 8 before we could walk to our room.

“Bad”

The location was fine, but the room I got was dilapidated, the carpet smelled, the toilet was inside the shower making it hard to use after showering, the air‑con didn’t work, the furniture was too old and torn, and overall the stay was horrible.

The room was cozy and clean, and I liked the breakfast—everything I tried tasted good. However, the room lacked a bar fridge, so my cold drinks stayed warm, and the pool was dirty; after requesting a towel, I found the water unfit for swimming, so I couldn't use it. At breakfast, I was told a café latte wasn't included and would cost extra, which is unusual since other hotels only charge for a second round of drinks and they never explained it when we were seated. I also asked to have the drinks charged to my room and paid at checkout because I had come down for breakfast without my wallet or card, but that was declined, so I had to stick with the drinks that were available.

It was just a good stay.

The hotel was very clean and beautiful, and there was nothing negative.
