Everything was perfect.
I had to cancel because the dates were wrong and when I tried to re‑book the hotel was full. The hotel staff refused to make an exception or refund me, and I emailed several times without response, even from the booking site. I called but nobody answered. I gave up and was not happy at all. I usually stayed here with my mom whenever we were in Des Moines, but the customer service has slipped, even at the hotel next door. I stood there for about 5–7 minutes before I was checked in; the staff member was on the computer and could have said he would be with me in a few minutes.
