“Perfect 8-day family getaway in authentic East Bali”

Our eight‑day family break in East Bali was flawless – the resort’s setting in the mountains offered breathtaking valley, jungle and ocean views, cooler air and almost no mosquitoes, while the hosts took care of everything from day‑to‑day planning to serving fresh, delicious meals that blended French and Indonesian flavors; we loved hearing Gamelan music from nearby villages, could walk to a 30‑metre waterfall with a natural pool, and used the property as a convenient launch point for rice‑terrace, village and temple excursions, with the staff easily arranging a driver or a short‑notice car rental, making it a top pick for a peaceful, well‑organized, authentic Bali experience.

I was looking for a diving experience, and this place certainly delivered. The staff were friendly and attentive, and I felt well taken care of throughout my stay.

“Wish we booked elsewhere”

My stay at this hotel had its share of mixed experiences. While the staff were friendly and attentive, and the pillows were comfortable, the initial room setup didn't quite match our booking. We were expecting a single bed in addition to the large double bed, but instead, we found a sofa that the manager claimed could be used as a single bed. However, this seemed like a stretch, especially considering other rooms were listed with sofa beds.
