The quiet, the beauty of the village, the rooms, the sculptures, the food, and the hospitality make Bagneri unbeatable! The welcome was top‑class. The only downside was that the property could use a couple more rooms.

A magical village where peace and silence abound. The breakfast was excellent. We dined with the owners and a friend of theirs, and the dinner was free. I would come back! Leave the car at Tracciolino and walk 10 minutes to reach Bagneri. The bed had a feather duvet that was too heavy for the summer season, which made me uncomfortable.

The breakfast was just right, featuring local products, and the welcome was great because we were still exhausted at 10 pm after hiking the Oropa trail. We loved the architecture, which preserved the classic mountain‑house style, the view, the calm, the scent of wood, the common room, and the surrounding area to explore. We liked everything, but for other types of travelers it’s useful to know that reaching the property involves a short stretch of mulattiera (a stone path, not a paved road), the rooms are spread over several floors, and the stairs look like the original wooden ones – a bit narrow and could be awkward to navigate.
