“Eine zehn von zehn”

Ten out of ten, especially for the breakfast buffet. I’ve never experienced such a calm, caring atmosphere before. The owner put a lot of love and beautiful design into it. Very friendly, extremely calm in answering all questions. I’ll definitely return.

We found the two days in Wernigerode very pleasant. A very nice and clean small town where you can’t starve. A great variety of restaurants and cafés. The house is a bit old, and a few wooden steps creak, but that doesn’t bother us. A plus is the central room where you can brew a pot of coffee or tea fresh. The breakfast room feels more like a café, spacious and thoughtfully decorated. We didn’t miss anything, and anything we asked for was freshly prepared. The many small bowls and plates of treats were sometimes too much of a good thing for us, and while heart‑shaped plates look cute, they’re more impractical in our opinion. We understand that additional fees such as a tourist tax are added to the usual pension cost, but we would have liked to read about parking fees beforehand.

The place felt incredibly homey, more like a home than a hotel, and I couldn't find anything negative.
