The lake view and convenient parking were great, but the upkeep inside and outside the rooms was lacking and the unit equipment was poor.

The location was magical and the real experience of being so close to the lake was amazing; the cabins looked cool and were well‑designed on the outside and inside. The bed’s support board under the mattress in the double bed we got was completely broken, and we only discovered this on the first night after the kids had gone to sleep, so we couldn’t do anything about it. We split our sleep between one side of the bed and the sofa, and we were missing a blanket. We reported the missing blanket and broken bed in the morning, and only after a day of chasing the staff and repeatedly visiting management with requests to fix the bed and blanket did someone come to repair the bed. A spare blanket was never provided, even though we asked over and over, and after three days the hotel said that each of us would have to sleep without a blanket. When we complained about the terrible experience at check‑out, the staff looked at us and listened, but ultimately no compensation was offered for the distress.
