We stayed in room 5, the top‑floor room with a large window overlooking the garden. The village is quaint, right on the Belgium–Netherlands border, and the room was very modern with a great bed and a good shower. The staff and owner were fantastic, and they even found an iron for us when we needed one. The weather was hot during our visit, so the room got very warm; the air‑conditioning was present but didn’t work properly. Also, breakfast and coffee only start at 9 am, which feels a bit late for an early start, but aside from that we had a great stay.

Quiet surroundings and easy to get to from Maastricht, whether you’re taking public transport or driving. The cleanliness left something to be desired—tiny nail clippings on the floor—and the bathroom window let you see into the next room.
