“Convenient location for what we were there for staff friendly”

The spot was handy for what we were doing in town, but the traffic outside the hotel was loud. I didn’t realize the place was being remodeled and there was no breakfast on the last day, so I had no option for a morning meal.

The location was great and the staff were friendly, doing their best to help when we were in a stressful situation. However, they didn’t communicate well about the renovations, and we were hit with extra fees when we switched rooms to a property that didn’t have a kitchen. I was disappointed by the hidden renovation work.

The hotel sits in a prime downtown spot and the facilities are top‑tier even while it’s being renovated. Every detail was wonderful, and the staff were very accommodating. In other cities a hotel like this would cost a fortune, but the rates were reasonable and I appreciated the free breakfast. I’d highly recommend it to anyone traveling to or through Tampa—five stars!

“Very pleasant stay with lovely helpful staff and comfortable clean and well equipped rooms.”

The pool, breakfast, and modern rooms were lovely, and the staff—especially Sheea at reception—were incredibly helpful with our bags before check‑in and offered great advice later; the renovations didn’t disturb our stay.

“They were doing renovations, so I have hope that a future stay might be better.”

Breakfast was tasty and the pool was a welcome escape on a hot day; the suite’s kitchen area was well stocked (though we didn’t cook), and the bed was very comfortable. However, the toilet was clogged with excrement upon arrival, the shower dripped and left reddish marks on the tub floor, the temperature was hard to control and often scalding, and the suite’s carpeting had pulls and stains.
