“Bien, algo alejado del centro”
The accommodation is decent, comparable to most places in Sri Lanka. The owner is very kind. It’s true that it’s not close to the center, you have to climb a hill, and at night it’s not ideal like other areas. We took a tuk‑tuk and had no issues. We did have a small problem: when we woke up there was a dead cockroach next to the bed. That seems fairly common in the area; the place was clean and the cockroach was dead, so we understand they do use poison and similar measures.
