The spot is great for photos and memories, with a large parking area and a hot bath. However, there is no kitchen or cooking hob, no kitchen sink, and no basin in the toilet—so you must leave the house to wash hands, plates, brush teeth, etc. One toilet water heater is broken, there’s no air‑con and only a single standing fan. Privacy suffers because the entrance door is clear glass with a see‑through curtain. The host provided a gate lock passcode that doesn’t work, and when I called, she said I needed to pay a deposit of IDR 500k first.

The villa is fairly new and has the necessary amenities, a decent bed, and polite staff, though they don’t speak English. It sits on a very noisy street, and in the second half of the villa a group may arrive that will disturb sleep—there’s no sound insulation.

“Disappointed”

Location is near to other attractions like Jam Gadang (about 10 minutes drive away). 1. No water and electricity from 6am till 2pm and I had to find another place to stay for the night. 2. Another hotel (Atiyan) was nice to allow us to check in at 9am. 3. By the time property owner replied my message, we chcked in another hotel. 4. Service recovery was quite bad. 5. Upper bed has lizard poop

The staff were very helpful and friendly, but if you want privacy you must book the entire villa, not just a portion.
