The room and bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable, the room was bright and right in the heart of the city. The staff gave great suggestions about where to eat and what to see during check‑in. The floor creaked because it was original 1800s wood, and the private bathroom was actually outside the room.

The position is absolutely superb, almost as close to the centre of Trieste as you can get. Our Grey Room was very clean and fresh with tasteful, modern restoration as the photos show. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom excellent. We were met at the door to check in, shown details of the apartment and its good security. We would be delighted to stay there again. Nothing to mention.

The room was spotless, large, and well decorated, with a comfortable bed and excellent pillows. It was on the 3rd floor with an elevator, in a prime spot where everything – tourist sights, restaurants, pharmacies, markets, parking, buses, trains – was close by. The bathroom and kitchenette worked perfectly, with everything from a bottle opener to a dishcloth. Wi‑Fi was great. Luca’s service was super fast and attentive. Paying by card through the app Luca sent worked flawlessly. Everything was perfect. We didn’t find anything we didn’t like; it met all our expectations.

The staff communicated well. The location was ideal. The room was beautiful and very comfortable, and I’m grateful for the two pillows each! It had a mini‑kitchen and plenty of towels, soaps, a hairdryer, a washing machine, etc. The bathroom was 10/10. The air conditioning worked well for such a large room. The deep bath in the Green bathroom was lovely. The only downside was that, because of the building’s age and layout, the private bathroom was down the corridor from our apartment. We were in the Green room; I think the Taupe room has its bathroom inside the unit. The floor was very squeaky old wood – beautiful but noisy when getting up at night for the bathroom. Overall, it didn’t spoil our enjoyment of this beautiful property.

The location was great, very central. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, offering good value for such a quality space. Check‑in was easy and convenient. The hosts communicated well and were readily available to help with any questions. The only issue was that the Green Room’s bathroom was not attached to the bedroom and required crossing a communal hall. It was a good bathroom but inconvenient to reach. I would have chosen a different room if that had been an option. The floorboards were extremely noisy – we had to leave early in the morning and felt we were making a lot of noise just moving. We could hear people in the adjacent rooms. The TV couldn’t access any channels.
