Some of the staff were incredibly friendly—thanks, Madhushani! They even helped me when a nasty bug flew into my bathroom fan (what are the odds!). The views were beautiful and the breakfast was filling.

The location was great – you’re close to the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation did not match the photos; we had an old room with no windows, everything was worn out, holes in the bed sheet, cleanliness was lacking, greasy film everywhere, the humidity was unbearable and everything was damp. It felt as if the bed was in the middle of the street and we could hear the neighbor’s snoring through the thin walls, so the sleep was not restorative.

The hotel was okay, not perfect and not worth the price. There were several water failures, but the staff were so amazing that I raised my rating.
