The place is quiet with no food options, but the location is peaceful. Bus stops are about 3 to 5 minutes away, and a Netto lies between them. The medieval market was great. The stairs are steep and there’s no elevator, but that was clear from the start. I got help carrying my luggage up and down. There are few shops in Weissenfels, but that’s not the pension’s fault.

The nearest supermarket and bakery are about 8 minutes on foot, and the Irish Pub “Battlefield” is just under 15 minutes away. The pension sits on the chocolate side of Weißenfels, a quiet spot. A small park is right around the corner.
