I stayed in October 2025 and paid $450 for one night, expecting more for that price. The kitchen was dirty, with a sticky, greasy pan and dirty plates in the cupboard that we had to wash ourselves. The cooker was also dirty, and there were half‑dead plants and dirty windows. I can live with those issues, but the overall cleanliness was disappointing.

The place offers peace and nature, with a wonderful hot tub and everything needed for a relaxing escape. I enjoyed swinging and watching birds, but the lack of secondary locks on the doors left me vulnerable to anyone with a key or code.

We had a fantastic stay; the location is beautiful, peaceful, and tucked away yet still convenient for visiting Sequoia. The view was fantastic, the home was well kept, and the amenities matched our needs for a comfortable weekend. It was a great spot to relax, enjoy the area, and feel close to nature without being too far from everything. We would gladly return and recommend it to anyone seeking a quiet, scenic stay near Sequoia.

I recommend this house—it was clean, comfortable, and surrounded by beautiful nature. The evenings with cicadas were unforgettable, and I truly got some rest.

Everything was mostly fine, but for a senior with replaced knees the shower was tricky to exit. A grab bar would have helped a lot.
