The place was spotless, modern, and right on the walk to the beach and restaurants.

“A small quiet dated 2-story 'throw-back' property - walkable to beach & food”

At first I was taken aback by a loud, drunk couple at the central pool—quite the start, but after that the owner, a very pleasant and professional fellow, made up for it. The Carlton House is one of many options in St. Pete, and I’d stay here again. The Waffle House is only 100 yards away with no busy street to cross. The owner mentioned a major ‘refresh’ of the rooms is coming, so the dated finishes, edges, door knobs, and surfaces will be upgraded.
